BALLINWING ABERDEEN-ANGUS HERD, established in 1923, is the oldest pedigree cattle herd in the West of Ireland. The herd contains unique ABERDEEN-ANGUS foundation family bloodlines - the VINE maternal line -dating back to the foundation of the breed in the early part of the nineteenth century. Aberdeen-Angus are bred on every continent in the world and the breed is the dominant beef breed in the major beef producing countries such as the USA,Argentina and Australia.
BALLINWING AA HERD is located near Carrick-on-Shannon in County Leitrim, Ireland.
Pictured above is Stevenson Fortune 425C, the sire of some of our top performing calves. Ouality stock by other top sires including Youngdale Hogan, Youngdale Monarch 12E and Rawburn Transformer is currently for sale. The herd has a longstanding disease free status and is SIGNET Beefbreeder BLUP recorded.
